TELEVISION

TV is a telecommunication medium. Word television comes from Greek. It was invented in 1883 by Paul Nipkow. He was a German technician and inventor. He invented it to entertain and inform people. Germany's first public television channel, started in Berlin in 1935, was named Fernsehsender Paul Nipkow. Soon they started to use TV all over the world except in Yugoslavia. The television is very important today. In almost every single house is at least one TV. They are even in children's rooms. However, more useful and popular is internet. We have TV at home in our living room.
